    Softball rulebooks are apparently proprietory to the govening bodies of various associations and this is mostly so that they can derive income from their sales. The rules of the game of softball are public domain and here is a copy of the generic rules of softball and any similarity to any official rulebooks is purely co-incidental. The publication available here is intended solely to educate the the softball commmunity for the betterment of the sport in general and with no commercial gain.
