New Features

Written by OntFast Sunday, 08 February 2009 16:04

We have added two new features to the website in the past week. Firstly, we have added an event calendar for all of the clinics, meetings, tournaments and special events that are held throughout the year. Please feel free to send along your particular event and we will add it to the calendar. You can access this through the Upcoming Events in the right menu.

We have also added a Video Gallery section. We post videos on a regular basis on our front page and over time they get buried deeper into the site so we put them together in one collection for easy viewing. The link can be found in the Softball Stuff menu. We are always on the look for new and interesting videos so please send along any that you may have or find. We have also archived the older news articles and these are searchable by month in the Archived News menu.

Lastly we would like to thank everyone for the great support of this website and for the informative feedback that we get on a regular basis. We encourage an open dialogue to make this sport better so we always welcome your thoughts and suggestions.

Following the lead of other sports organizations around the world, Softball Ontario has recognized the need to address abusive situations in our sport. Each season, Players and Coaches hang up their cleats and gloves and leave our great sport because they have experienced an abusive situation that made them turn away from the game.
